This Privacy Policy applies to the Divvid app (“Application”) for mobile devices, created by Divvid (“Service Provider”). This document describes how we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information when you use our service.

Divvid is a shared budget app designed for couples and partners. You choose who you share your expenses and income with. When you add a transaction, the details are visible to the other members of your group. Divvid is not intended to be used by children under the age of 13.
Registration information: When you create a Divvid account, we collect your name and email address. We use this information to manage your account, authenticate your identity, and allow you to access your data from any device.
User-generated content: When using the service, you may provide information about shared expenses, income, budgets, categories, amounts, descriptions, and dates. This information is shared with the other members of your group. You are solely responsible for what you choose to share and with whom.
Group information: When you create or join a group, we store the group name, member identifiers, and invitation tokens.
Device and usage information: When you download or use Divvid, we may receive information about your device, including your IP address, operating system, and app version. We use this information to provide the service, improve its performance, and ensure account security.

Divvid uses Firebase, a platform operated by Google LLC, for user authentication and data storage. Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Google LLC applies technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. Divvid offers an optional paid subscription called Divvid Pro. All payments are processed exclusively by Apple Inc. through the App Store. Divvid does not have access to your payment card information, billing address, or any other financial information related to your subscription. With your permission, Divvid may send push notifications to inform you of new transactions or activity in your group. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information. However, transactions that were shared with other group members may remain visible in their accounts as part of their records.

We take the security of your information seriously. We use Firebase’s built-in security features, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and Firestore Security Rules, to protect your data from unauthorized access.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Divvid is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at the address below and we will promptly delete that information.
Divvid uses Firebase (Google LLC), which may process your data on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using our service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in countries outside your country of residence.
