Welcome to Divvid. By downloading or using the Divvid application (“Application”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
Divvid is a shared budget application designed for couples and partners to track shared expenses, income, and budgets. Transactions recorded in Divvid are informal records intended to help you and your partner manage your finances together. They do not constitute legally binding financial contracts.
The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” We do our best to maintain a reliable service, but we may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.
You may use Divvid only if:
To use Divvid, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. You agree to:
Divvid is designed to share financial information between the members of a group. When you add a transaction (expense or income), it becomes visible to all members of your group. You are solely responsible for the information you choose to add and share. Divvid cannot guarantee the accuracy of information entered by users.
You agree to use Divvid only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:
Divvid reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms of Use.
You are solely responsible for all content you add to Divvid, including transaction descriptions, amounts, categories, and group names. By submitting content, you represent that you have the right to do so and that such content does not violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
Divvid reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms of Use or that we deem inappropriate, at our sole discretion.
Divvid offers an optional paid subscription called Divvid Pro, which unlocks additional features including unlimited transactions, full transaction history, and personal statistics.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. DIVVID DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DIVVID SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF REVENUE, OR FINANCIAL DECISIONS MADE BASED ON INFORMATION RECORDED IN THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF DIVVID HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Divvid, its developers, agents, and representatives from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms of Use, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

By using Divvid, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
Divvid uses third-party services to operate, including Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication and data storage, and Apple Inc. for in-app purchases. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Divvid is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Upon deletion of your account, your personal information will be removed. However, transactions previously shared with other group members may remain visible in their accounts as part of their records, without your personal identifying information.
Divvid reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the service.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Divvid with respect to your use of the service.
